SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the people responsible for an attempted robbery.
The robbery was reported May 21 at a Stripes convenience store located in the 4000 block of East Houston Street on the city's East Side.
According to police two men entered the store brandishing guns and attempted to rob the store before they were interrupted.
The suspects then fled the scene on foot, police said.
So far no arrests have been made in the case.
Anyone with any knowledge of the shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.
Tips can also be texted to CRIMES (274637) or by visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
