Burned, decapitated body found in Dumpster identified

The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the body of the victim, he was 43 years old. The name has not been released until his relatives are notified.

San Antonio police on Tuesday released an image of a tattoo found on a man's unidentified burned body.

The body was found in a Dumpster at 12:22 a.m. Sunday in an apartment complex at 2303 Goliad Road, police said.

The tattoo, which says "Javier," is located on the victim's right upper arm, police said.

The victim was found decapitated and with no hands.

He has light-complected skin, is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds.
