Police searching for man who robbed far North Side bank

No injuries reported

SAN ANTONIO – A man is on the run after robbing a bank on the far North Side, police said.

The robbery happened at the Security Service Federal Credit Union near Evans Road and U.S. 281 about 10:45 a.m. Saturday.

Police said the man walked up to a teller and handed them a note demanding cash. Authorities have not said how much he got away with.

The man did not have a weapon, police said. Surveillance footage is being reviewed and police are interviewing witnesses.

Police said the man is possibly in his 20s, weighs about 160 pounds and is roughly 5 feet 8 inches.

No injuries were reported.
