The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing a shotgun from an auto repair shop.

Police said the robbery happened at 1:17 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11 at Saucedo's Automotive on Blanco Road. Authorities responded to the repair shop in reference to a burglar alarm.

Upon arrival, police said both glass front doors were shattered. The northern most door was still intact, but police said the south door appeared to have been forced inward after being struck by a large rock, found within 3 feet of the doors.

Two officers checked the inside of the repair shop, but said they could not find anyone inside.

The manager of the store arrived and told police he discovered his shotgun was missing. After walking through the rest of the store, the manager told police he did not notice anything else missing.

Those with information about the identity or the whereabouts of this suspect are asked to call the San Antonio Police Department at 207-SAPD (7273).
