RAICES to hold free DACA-renewal workshop

RAICES: DACAs expiring between now, March 26, 2017, should start renewing

SAN ANTONIO – Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services, or RAICES, said its organization is hosting a free Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, renewal workshop Saturday.

RAICES will provide free legal services for DACA applicants who meet income-eligibility guidelines. The organization said DACAs expiring between now and March 26, 2017 should start renewing.

RAICES said those attending the workshop should bring:

  • A copy of your previous DACA application
  • A copy of your work permit (front and back)
  • Social Security card
  • Passport (If you have one already)
  • An estimate of your annual income
  • An estimate of your annual expenses
  • Two passport photos
  • A money order for $465

The workshop will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday at Westside Education and Training Center at 563 S.W. 40th St. in San Antonio.
