SAN ANTONIO -

Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a man and woman believed to have stolen debit cards from two employees of UT Health Science Center.

The thefts occurred Sept. 9.

The cards were taken from unlocked offices of the dental school and medical school on the campus of UTHSC.

The offices have the ability to be locked, but were not.

Later that day, surveillance cameras captured a woman with long, dark hair making a purchase using the stolen cards at Dillard's in North Star Mall.

A male in a white t-shirt is with her.

The stolen cards were also used to buy items at the Toys R Us across from the mall on Loop 410 and San Pedro.

"Most of the areas are frequented by the public because we do provide services to our community," said University Police Department Chief Michael Parks. "So it's not unusual to have people back in the office-type areas."

If you have any information on the man and woman seen in the surveillance images, call Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP.

Tips can be made anonymously.

To text a tip, text "tip 127" plus the tip information to CRIMES (274637).
