SAN ANTONIO -

The San Antonio River Authority and city officials are investigating an oil spill on the River Walk.

The spill happened between 9th and 10th streets, and is affecting the Museum Reach section of the River Walk.  

Investigators are working to determine where the spill came from said there is some oil staining the walkways and vegetation in the area.

Bike and hiking trails are still open, but residents should be careful going through the area.

SARA says the outcome of their investigation will determine whether or not that area needs to be closed.
