Man shot after road rage incident on East Side
SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio police said a possible road rage incident between three men escalated and led to gunfire in east San Antonio early Friday morning.

Investigators said two men in a dark blue Saturn sedan got into a confrontation with another driver around 2:45 a.m. at the corner of S. New Braunfels and Steves avenues.

One of the men in the Saturn pulled out a gun and shot the other driver in the leg, police said.

The victim managed to drive to his home, located about a mile away, and call for help.

Paramedics rushed him to San Antonio Military Medical Center. He was expected to survive.

Police said there were at least three bullet holes in the victim's vehicle The other men fled the scene of the shooting and remained at large as of 11 a.m. Friday.
