SAN ANTONIO -

A robbery suspect is on the run after holding up a northwest side bank Sunday afternoon.

That robbery call came out around 1:45 p.m. at the IBC branch in the 11800 block of Bandera Rd.

Police say the man walked into the bank and claimed he had a gun.

They say he did not flash a weapon, but bank clerks gave up the cash anyway.

Robbery detectives say the suspect was 18 to 22 years old.

Bank employees told police the robber took off from the scene in a pickup truck.

Police searched the area but did not find the suspect.
