SAN ANTONIO -

If you have a flight scheduled Thursday night or Friday morning, you're going to want to check ahead to make sure it hasn't been cancelled or delayed.

There are already changes to several flights at the San Antonio International Airport.

Airport officials say if there are icy conditions, it's prepared to treat the runway and taxiway surfaces.

Updated flight information is available at www.sanantonio-airport.com.

Airport officials are offering the following tips for travelers during this weather event:

  • Check your flight status before heading out at www.sanantonio-airport.com.
  • Drive with caution and allow extra time when heading to the airport.
  • During winter weather advisories, it is recommended to be inside the airport 90 minutes prior to flight departure time. This should allow for plenty of time to navigate flight check-in, security lines and travel to the gate.
  • Passengers can also get updates and tips on the airport’s Facebook (SATairport) or Twitter (@SAairport) pages.
