SAN ANTONIO – A 31-year-old man was arrested in San Antonio as part of a nationwide crackdown.
Dannie Kindle is now charged with aggravated promotion of prostitution.
According to his arrest affidavit, federal agents discovered the ring from an ad online selling girls and young women for sex.
They say an undercover agent answered the ad and was set up with a 22-year-old woman at the Days Inn on Interstate 10 West at Vance Jackson.
A task force detained the woman.
Investigators say she told them she was lured into prostitution by a woman named Ugonna Nwogu, who promised her a job giving massages.
She also identified Kindle as Nwogu's boyfriend. Kindle was was arrested Tuesday.
Nwogu is now in the custody of U.S. Immigration, awaiting a transfer to Bexar County.
