Thousands showed up to ring in 2014 at the annual celebrate San Antonio New Years bash at Hemisfair Park.
"There's a lot of energy right now," said Cindy Puente, who was among the revelers. "I think at this point it's excitement."
250,000 were expected to show up for the big bash and they didn't leave disappointed.
The fireworks display at the stroke of midnight and the musical acts were crowd favorites. There was also special entertainment for children and families, which included carnival rides and games.
"It's pretty fun and energetic," said Jessie Moore, a reveler.
Fifteen musical acts took turns entertaining the crowd on three stages between Maverick Plaza and Hemisfair Park.
The fireworks show brought cheers and highlighted the Tower of the Americas.
Shortly after 2014 rang in, it was time to start looking at resolutions.
"I want to stop eating unhealthy food and workout more," said Alyssa Arguijo.
