NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – The search for a missing San Antonio boy who was last seen near the Comal River is expected to resume Monday.
According to New Braunfels police, Xabier Martinez, 6, disappeared from the Hinman Island Park area on the Comal River just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officers, a dive team and a Texas DPS helicopter searched the area Sunday evening, but had to suspend the search because it became too dark.
Martinez is described as 3 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing beige shorts and possibly a yellow "Angry Birds" T-shirt, New Braunfels officials said.
