San Antonio fire crews battled a pair of house fires late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Firefighters responded to the first fire call around 11:30 p.m. in the 1900 block of Rawhide on the West Side of San Antonio.
Fire officials said flames were showing in the back of the house, and smoke and fire spread throughout the home.
Firefighters extinguished the flames quickly and paramedics treated one man for smoke inhalation.
Damages were estimated at $25,000 for the structure and $10,000 for the contents. A cause was unknown as of Wednesday morning.
San Antonio arson investigators are looking into the cause of a separate fire, this one at a vacant home on the South Side.
Fire officials said flames broke out inside the home in the 500 block of Rochambeau Wednesday just before 1 a.m.
Firefighters say the house was fully engulfed upon their arrival, but they managed to put it out within minutes. No injuries were reported and a cause was unknown Wednesday.
