SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio firefighters responded to a pair of house fires late Thursday night into Friday morning.

The first fire broke out around 11 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 100 block of Lansing near South Zarzamora.

Fire crews responded and found smoke inside the home. Fire officials said one person was inside at the time of the fire, but they got out safe without any injuries

Fire officials believe a faulty heating unit may be to blame for the fire. Damage estimates were unknown Friday morning.

Fire damages mobile home on South Side

A few hours later, another fire broke out on the far South Side.

San Antonio firefighters responded to the fire just after 1:30 a.m. Friday in the 16000 block of Leal Street.

Firefighters arrived to find smoke inside a mobile home, but said no one was injured. 

Fire officials believe the fire started inside a wall, but an exact cause and damages were unknown Friday morning
