SAN ANTONIO -

Two men identified as Wesley Reinhard,  27, and Ralph Morales, 53, are facing charges in connection with a home invasion in which a woman was robbed at gunpoint in front of her young child.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated that the victim was unloading groceries from her van on the afternoon of Oct. 30 when Morales barged into her home.

The affidavit stated that Morales held a gun to the woman’s neck in front of her child and demanded her purse, phone and the keys to her van.

Morales, along with Reinhard and a third man, identified as Julien Montes, then drove away from the home, the affidavit stated.

On Nov. 15, San Antonio police arrested Reinhard in connection with a carjacking that had happened a few days prior.

Police said Reinhard confessed to being involved in that crime and the home invasion, and also named Morales as being involved.

At the time of the carjacking, Morales was supposed to be wearing an ankle monitor as a result of yet another crime but had cut it off, the affidavit stated.

Police said Reinhard and Montes also used the home invasion victim’s stolen credit cards.
