A 27-year-old man identified as Rodolfo Carrasco has been identified as a suspect in two separate home burglaries through fingerprints found at the scene, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.

The two burglaries happened in August and September of this year. In one case, a homeowner told San Antonio police he was alerted to the break-in on Sept. 11 by his home surveillance system.

The affidavit stated the homeowner’s surveillance video showed a man entering his home through a doggie door, then using a gift-wrapped present on a table to block his dogs from entering the same way.

A woman also reported a burglary at her home Aug. 27. Police said they found fingerprints at both scenes which matched some that they already had on file for Carrasco.

Records show Carrasco has been arrested on burglary charges before, including an arrest this past January.
