SAN ANTONIO -

A man who San Antonio police said was apparently upset with his ex-girlfriend is accused of intentionally ramming two cars into a Northwest Side home early Monday morning.

Officers were called to the 6700 block of Spring Haven Street early Monday because the suspect had reportedly used his SUV to push two cars into a house.

"I opened up the door and a I saw all the commotion out here, the police and the fire and all that. Curiously, I walked down here," neighbor Richard Burrell said.

Police tracked down the suspected driver at the Sage Crossing Apartments in the 200 block of Oakdale.

The man admitted to officers he was angry with his ex-girlfriend who lived in the home, and rammed the cars on purpose, police said.

There were several people inside the home when the cars came crashing two feet inside, but no one was injured and the suspect's ex-girlfriend was not home at the time, police said.

He was arrested and is expected to face a felony charge for criminal mischief. The man also had three outstanding warrants for traffic violation.

His name has not been officially released.

Damage to the home and cars was estimated at $30,000, San Antonio police said.
