San Antonio police are asking for help from the public as they try to identify and locate a woman suspected in the armed robbery of a local Home Depot store.

Police said the robbery took place around 3:45 p.m. on Jan. 9 at the Home Depot located at 2658 SW Military Dr.

Two loss prevention employees at the store told investigators they saw the woman running toward the front of the store with some merchandise. When they tried to stop her, they said she pulled out a steak knife and threatened them.

According to a police report, the woman then ran outside the store and took off in a stolen 2011 Dodge pickup. The truck was described in the report as gray with four doors.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP. Callers may remain anonymous. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
