SAN ANTONIO -

Two 19-year-old men are accused of burglarizing the home of someone who they knew from school, and San Antonio police say they targeted the home for that reason.

Mario Watson and Alvin Brown were officially charged Wednesday in connection with the crime which happened on May 20.

An arrest warrant affidavit stated that while investigating this burglary, detectives received information that Brown was driving a vehicle stolen during another burglary, and that Watson was with him.

Detectives brought them both in for questioning the following day.

They said Brown admitted that he and Watson had burglarized several homes, including one that they specifically targeted because they knew the daughter of the homeowner, the affidavit stated.

The daughter later viewed surveillance video and told investigators she knew the suspects as casual acquaintances from after school sports activities, the affidavit stated.

Police said property from that burglary was found inside the stolen car, the affidavit stated .
