SAN ANTONIO -

A 38-year-old man identified as Danny Leo Sr. is the latest person to face charges in connection with several home burglaries that San Antonio police said involved a woman posing as a city worker.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, Leo, his 17-year-old son, Danny Leo Jr., and Michelle Yonko, 42, are all suspects in the cases.

The affidavit stated the group was detained by police in Live Oak on Dec. 11. They then notified San Antonio police, who had been looking for suspects matching their descriptions, the affidavit stated.

In one burglary case, a woman dressed in a hard hat and reflective vest, and carrying a clipboard, approached a San Antonio homeowner Dec. 8, the affidavit stated.

They said the woman told the homeowner she was "with the city" and needed to take measurements in his backyard, the affidavit stated.

Police said while the homeowner was distracted by her, two men went into his garage and stole some items, the affidavit stated.

A security camera outside the home captured images of the group, the affidavit stated. Danny Leo Sr. was arrested Thursday while Yonko was taken into custody Dec. 11.

Although Danny Leo Jr., is named as a suspect in the affidavit, it does not appear that he has been arrested yet.
