San Antonio recruiting battalion looks to fill 140 positions

Effort marks largest mission increase in command's history

SAN ANTONIO – Army leaders are looking for more soldiers. The U.S. Army is asking for 6,000 more active duty recruits and 1,500 in reserves.

The San Antonio Recruiting Battalion will look to fill 140 spaces as the Army has added $200 million in incentive bonuses as part of the largest in-year mission increase in the command’s history.
