San Antonio residents who plan to enjoy New Year's Eve festivities across the city will be greeted with ideal weather to ring in 2014.

KSAT Weather Authority Meteorologist Justin Horne expects partly cloudy skies for New Year's Eve with temperatures in the low-40s by midnight. The high for Tuesday is expected to be in the mid-50s.

New Year's Day is expected to be partly sunny with a high near 62, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures Wednesday night are predicted to drop into the low 40s.
