A San Antonio woman is celebrating her 105th birthday.

Angelina "Angie" Spencer celebrated her birthday Wednesday with family and friends at Morningside Ministries.

While reaching this milestone may be hard for some to believe, Angie said on Wednesday that she feels great.

"I'm 105 years old," Angie said. "And I feel real good."

Angie got a cake and a special Happy Birthday serenade from four generations of family.

Angie's son, David Spencer, said his mother spent the majority of her life volunteering. She's helped out at several Catholic churches and at Morningside Ministries where she was honored on Wednesday afternoon.

"She had a hard life in the beginning," said David. "So it's just very, very satisfying to see all of her family here. She's in good health to be conversing. She will tell you she has a good appetite and sleeps good and can run if she has to, if the place is on fire, that sort of thing."

Angie also received 105 roses, which were donated to Oak Hill Florist by an anonymous party.

Angie said her birthday wish this year is for good health.

"Her sense of humor is one of the things that really warms my heart," said David Spencer. "And that she still has all of this in place."
