San Antonio police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who they said stole a phone and some money from another man at gunpoint.
Police said Jose Romo, 21, responded to a CraigsList ad purporting to sell an iPhone 5 for $200.
He told police he met the would-be seller in a parking lot off Interstate 35 around 5:20 p.m. on Aug. 18.
He said the man got into his car, then pulled out a large, semi-automatic handgun and demanded Romo's wallet and money. He also took Romo's phone from out of a cupholder in the car.
Before fleeing the scene, the thief also stole Romo's car keys, leaving him unable to drive and telling him not get out of the car or call for help.
San Antonio police said ultimately, Romo's phone was recovered and at least two self-taken photographs of the suspect were found on the phone.
The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 22 and 24, who is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 160 pounds. He is wanted on a charge of aggravated robbery of an individual.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 224-STOP.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible for this crime.
