Man held gun to heads of young children he sexually assaulted, SAPD says

Adam Sanchez, 34, charged with three counts of sex abuse

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man held a gun against the heads of two children while forcing them to perform sexual acts on one another and on him, according to arrest warrants obtained by KSAT 12 News.

Adam Sanchez, 34, was taken into custody Tuesday morning and booked on first-degree felony charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child, continuous sex abuse of young children and continuous sex abuse of a child.

According to San Antonio Police Department warrants, Sanchez used a belt to beat both children, who are 6 years old and younger, and also used a camera to record the sex acts over a nearly two-year period.

One victim told a Childsafe investigator that Sanchez held a gun against their heads when they did not comply with his requests, according to the warrants.

Sanchez denied the allegations when he was interviewed by detectives earlier this month, but detectives recovered evidence backing up the victims' claims, according to the warrants.

Sanchez pleaded no contest to drug possession in 2015 in an unrelated criminal case in Bexar County.
