SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio police say a Christmas celebration took a violent turn on the West Side early Wednesday morning.

Police investigators said two brothers began arguing at a family gathering around 1 a.m. on Wednesday in the 4400 block of Chulita.

At one point, one of the brothers stabbed the other with either a knife or gardening tool.

The victim was taken to University Hospital and is expected to be OK, investigators said. His brother was taken in for questioning.
