Authorities searching for two drivers in separate hit-and-run accidents

Both incidents occurred early Saturday morning

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have little information to help track down two drivers in two separate hit-and-run crashes.

The first incident happened around 1 a.m. near the intersection of West Ashby Place and North Main Avenue. Police said no one witnessed the crash, but officers responded to the scene when someone reported a man lying in the middle of the road. He was taken to the hospital with road rash and possible head injures.

Around 2:30 a.m. police responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of General Krueger Boulevard. Police said someone involved in the disturbance tried leaving the bar and ran over someone in the parking lot.

Police are looking into whether it was intentional. The victim is in critical condition at University Hospital.
