SAPD traffic officers will be out in full force, enforcing T.A.C.T, ticketing aggressive cars and trucks.
Police will be looking for vehicles who are speeding, changing lanes without signaling, texting while driving and tailgating other vehicles.
Officer James Bogardes says the goal is to prevent fatal accidents on the roads.
Bogardes patrols northwest side. “I just get in traffic I kind of stay over to the right and just flow with traffic and then they'll pass us," said Bogardes.
Officer Bogardes estimates he pulls over about 8 to 10 aggressive drivers during a 4 hour shift but adds he doesn’t try to hit a specific number.
