SAN ANTONIO -

The wet weather the San Antonio area saw over the weekend is expected to continue into the early part of the work week.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms across the San Antonio area Monday, mainly after 2 p.m.

KSAT Weather Authority Meteorologist Mike Osterhage expects a high of 93 with scattered storms on Monday. Chances for showers and storms remain at 40 percent until 8 p.m.

There is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m., with a high in the low 90s. Lows for Monday and Tuesday will be in the mid 70s.
