SAN ANTONIO -

The Scooter Store is moving its headquarters in New Braunfels.

To help settle with is creditors as it emerges from bankruptcy, the company is auctioning off virtually everything from its old headquarters.

"It's used, leftover, quality, high-end, excess inventory and equipment that they are no longer using," said Gary Rogers, of New Braunfels Auction Company.

Just about everything businesses need for their offices will be available for bidding.

"Computers, IT merchandise, electronics, printers, copiers. We've got a full stainless-steel kitchen. Kitchen equipment, banquet chairs, folding tables, office cubicles, office roll-around chairs," Rogers said.

The auction isn't just for businesses looking to beef up their infrastructure, either.

"Even a homeowner. There are refrigerators, microwaves. There are appliances, dishwashers. We've got toasters, toaster ovens. There is some furniture here that would fit in a home office or rental property," Rogers said.

To preview the items, go to the old Scooter Store headquarters at the northeast corner of Routes 46 and 337 in New Braunfels.

The preview is between 9 a.m. and noon on Friday, Sept. 13. The auction begins the same day at noon.
