SAN ANTONIO – A North Side family got a frightening wake up call in the form of gunfire Thursday morning.

San Antonio police responded to a call about shots fired around 5 a.m. and found two bullet holes in the garage door of a home in the 4400 block of Putting Green.

A man who identified himself as a relative of the residents said there were several children and at least one woman inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.
