SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital following a shooting on the city's North Side, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of El Monte Boulevard.

Investigators believe the shooter walked up to the front of the home and began shooting.
A man in his 20s was hit once in his back, according to police. He was taken to University Hospital in stable condition.
He is expected to recover from his injuries.
