SAN ANTONIO -

Overnight showers caused problems for drivers. Four injuries have been reported from three separate accidents.

The first accident happened around 12 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of East Hathaway.

According to police, a man was speeding down Hathaway when he came to a dead end and slammed on his breaks.

The vehicle jumped the curb and hit tree and light pole before rolling over.

Firefighters had to cut the driver out of the vehicle.

The man sustained minor injuries and police say he was intoxicated.

The second accident happened around 1 a.m. on Southeast Loop 410 at mile marker 38.

Police say the driver was speeding down the highway when he hit the center median and flipped his vehicle onto its roof.

The driver may have injured his back in the accident.

The third accident happened around 6:30 a.m. on the access road of Interstate 35 at Loop 1604 when an 18-wheeler overturned.

As of 8 a.m., the exit was closed until the 18-wheeler is removed.

Two people were treated at the scene by EMS.

No word on what caused the accident.
