The American College of Emergency Physicians issued a report card this week and the news wasn’t good for the state of Texas.

Overall, Texas dropped from 29th in 2009 to 38th with a grade of D+. Specifically, the state ranked among the worst in access to emergency care, quality and patient safety and public health and injury prevention.
