Congress could approve a government spending plan today and send it to President Obama's desk. The House passed the budget plan easily last week 332-94, and final Senate approval requires a simple majority of 51 "ayes."
While the budget plan would fund the government into 2015 and reduce the chances of another government shutdown, some critics say it cuts too much from military and unemployment benefits - or that it doesn't cut enough.
