Cell phone carrier T-Mobile announced this week they would offer incentives of up to $650 for customers to switch from other major carriers, such as AT&T, Sprint or Verizon.

The incentive comes in the wake of AT&T's offer specifically to current T-Mobile customers of $450 to switch.

"We're going to force the industry to change," T-Mobile CEO John Legere told reporters at this year's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. "I want every customer to have a complete choice. It's going to be a healthier industry."
