SAN ANTONIO -

A disabled puppy found in a West Side dumpster a month ago has just been adopted by the San Antonio Scorpions.

The Scorpions will name the puppy Stinger and say she will serve as a representative for the Scorpions organization and Morgan's Wonderland.

Stinger was born with a deformity in her two front legs. She will officially be adopted on Thursday by Gordon Hartman and Gene Hartman, however, her other siblings and mom have yet to find their forever homes. You can click on this link for adoption information.

The Scorpions play at Toyota Field this Saturday as they host Breast Cancer Awareness Night.
