Steven Avery has finally spoken out about the Netflix docu-series “Making a Murderer.”

Avery sent a three-page letter to an investigative reporter in Milwaukee that was received Thursday.

In the letter, Avery wrote, “The real killer is still out there. Who is he stalking now? I am really innocent of this case and that is the truth!!! The truth will set me free!!!!!!”

The letter also reveals Avery’s opinion on Jodi Stachowski, his ex-fiancee.

Avery wrote, “How much money Jodi get to talk bad!”

While the series was filming, Stachowski was supportive of Avery and claimed he was innocent.

Since then she has changed her stance on his innocence. In an interview with HLN released Jan. 18, Stachowski said Avery threatened to kill her and her family.

Stachowski goes on to say that her behavior in the series was “all an act.” She claims Avery was abusive and told her to smile and be happy, so she did out of fear that he would hit her.

Stachowski tells the reporter that Avery has called her several times from prison, but she’s never answered.

She called Avery a monster and said he has sent letters but she has only opened one.

In the only letter Stachowski claims to have opened, she said Avery threatened her, saying he wants money. She also reported that Avery threatened to call the Police Department and tell authorities that she was drinking and driving without a license.

Another letter has surfaced in the aftermath of the docu-series, this one written by Ken Kratz, the special prosecutor in the Steven Avery murder trial.

The letter was written Sept. 6, 2015, three months before the Netflix series was released on Dec. 18.

An excerpt from the letter Kratz wrote to Avery reads:
“By the way, the difference between you and famous convicted murderers from the past is that they told their whole truthful story to someone, who then wrote a book about what actually happened and people got to understand both sides.”

Avery’s new attorney, Kathleen Zellner, tweeted a copy of the letter last Sunday.
