A stolen car stop led to a big bust for SAPD when they found pills and methamphetamine.

A man and woman are in custody after that drug bust.

Police say the incident began around 10 p.m. Friday when an officer leaving the police Prue Rd. substation spotted a suspicious vehicle and decided to run the plates.

The vehicle showed up stolen and the officer pulled the driver over.

Police say when officers searched the vehicle they found thousands of dollars worth of illegal prescription pills and methamphetamine.

They arrested the man driving for the stolen vehicle. The woman passenger was arrested for felony drug possession with intent to distribute.
