SAN ANTONIO -

A 31-year-old man who was a suspect in a car burglary and credit card abuse case has been arrested.
Tomas Rodriguez was arrested Thursday after San Antonio police determined he was the man who was caught on surveillance camera at one of the businesses where a stolen credit card was used.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated that police believe he broke into a woman’s car Wednesday in the 2500 block of SW Military Drive and stole credit cards from the vehicle.
Police later found out that someone had tried to use the cards at a nearby convenience store and a Sears store at South Park Mall.
The affidavit stated that surveillance photos that detectives obtained from Sears showed Rodriguez and his getaway car. Detectives used information from the car to track down Rodriguez, the affidavit stated.
