A 33-year-old man is accused of helping a man who allegedly kidnapped, drugged and sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl. Johnny Garcia was arrested Saturday on a charge of aggravated kidnapping.
An arrest warrant affidavit stated the 15-year-old girl reported to San Antonio police that she was kidnapped on Feb. 6 by another man who she knew through a mutual juvenile friend.
The girl told police that man offered her a ride home from the friend's house, but took her to an apartment complex, then a motel and gave her methamphetamines at both locations, the affidavit stated.
The teen said that man also sexually assaulted her, the affidavit stated. At one point, she said, the alleged kidnapper left her with Garcia who continued holding her against her will and giving her drugs, the affidavit stated.
The affidavit stated that she told police she was afraid because she saw guns in the motel room.
The teen said she eventually woke up in the motel room and found herself alone.
She told police that although she was hallucinating, she was able to use a cell phone to call for help.
The affidavit stated that the teen gave police information leading them to Garcia. A warrant has been issued for the other man's arrest, but it did not appear that he's in custody yet.
