Suspect forging checks sought by Crime Stoppers

Forgery took place at Security Service Federal Credit Union

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down a suspect responsible for forging checks.

The incident took place at a Security Service Federal Credit Union, located in the 1500 block of Goliad Road.

Police said the suspect cashed a number of forged checks at several banks using the victim's identification, an Arizona driver's license, a fraudulent Texas temporary ID, and bank account information. The suspect was able to obtain thousands of dollars in cash, as well as purchasing tools and products from a home improvement store.

SAPD needs help identifying the man seen in the photos above.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
