Police are on the lookout for the man who robbed a convenience store Friday night and got away with a store employee chasing behind.

That robbery happened just before 11 p.m. in the 1600 block of Blanco.

Police say the man had a black bandana over his face and had on surgical gloves.

They say he walked in with a knife, demanded cash, grabbed the store's cash register and bolted.

A store employee chased the suspected robber outside.

Police say the employee kicked in the door of a teal colored pick-up the suspect jumped into.

They say four other people were in that truck.

Police are now searching for the pick-up and the suspect.

Last week a man also wearing a bandana and surgical gloves robbed a store on San Pedro not far from Friday night's crime.

Police say right now they are investigating these as separate crimes.

Police are on the lookout for the person who robbed a convenience store Friday night in the 1600 block of Blanco Road.  According to police, the suspect walked into the store wearing a bandanna to cover his face and surgical gloves.

When the suspect got up to the counter he showed the clerk a knife and demanded the money from the register.  The suspect then took off with the money and got into a vehicle that was waiting for him behind the vehicle, police stated.

Luckily no one was injured during the robbery and police do believe there were four other people in the truck waiting for the suspect.
