NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas -

After three days of investigation, police believe a man found dead around 8:45 p.m. Friday in his home on the 1000 block of Larkspur Drive was the victim of homicide.

Ted Koclanes, 48, was found alone. Police say no one else lived in the home and there was no clear indication of a break-in.

Police went to the house Friday to conduct a welfare check after Koclanes' brother from San Antonio called NBPD saying he had not been able to reach the victim for several days.

New Braunfels police would not release information Monday about how the victim died or whether there were obvious signs of trauma.

An autopsy is being performed.

Comal County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.

The reward is valid through Aug. 14.

Call 830-620-TIPS to share any information.
