SAN ANTONIO -

The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force has put 30 sex offenders behind bars in just 10 days.

Operation: Predator targeted sex offenders with outstanding felony warrants for not registering as sex offenders.

The operation was a joint operation, with 10 different federal, state and local agencies involved. 

"We compiled a list and we dedicated the entire task force to this operation for the last 10 days, pursuing these sex offenders," said a U.S. Marshal's spokesman in a written statement.

Some 28 sex offenders were arrested in the Bexar County area. One was from Corpus Christi and one other from Kerrville.
