Texas man who legally changed his name to Trump calls himself the 'undeportable one'

YouTube star aims to #MakeOdessaGreatAgain

ODESSA, Texas – A Texas YouTube star legally changed his last name to Trump after getting the green light from an Ector County court earlier this week.

Odessa resident Ernesto Trump said he changed his name for entertainment purposes, hoping to draw more followers to his social media presence on Live Leak and YouTube.

Trump posted a video to YouTube on Monday, calling on his 7,600 YouTube fans to refer to him as "The President's Son."

In a phone interview, Trump said he made the decision to change his name as a marketing tool that stays true to his mission to "entertain everybody." The comedian has been making YouTube videos for five years, something he said has caused a rift between himself and his family.

"I really don't have a family," Trump said. "I mean, I have a huge family, but my family disowned me when I started making my videos because they said I'm an embarrassment. Everyone except for my mom and dad."

Contrary to reports his parents entered the US illegally, Trump said his parents came from a small town in Chihuahua, Mexico, likely with work visas. Now, he said his parents have Green Cards.

While Trump went about the name change for comedic effect, his decision has drawn scrutiny from some.

"Idiot, selling out your own people," one person commented on Trump's video.

Others, however, regarded the move as legendary.
