SAN ANTONIO -

They're here one day, gone the next.

Pop up stores are rolling into San Antonio, with businesses hoping Alamo City residents will be drawn to them the way they've lined up for food carts.

Blue Print is a high-end interior design store in Dallas. It's in town for three days.

"I just think the energy, meeting new people and showing them something, a little bit of Dallas," said Lauren Zogg, Blue Print manager. "I don't think San Antonio has a lot of home furnishing stores."

Blue Print has found a short-term home at The Pearl.

"If it was brick and mortar and here all the time, people would maybe think about it and forget about it or choose a different option," said interior decorator Michelle Stevens. "But because there's kind of the hysteria and excitement that's created around it, so you want to get it before anyone else does."

This pop up store has become must-see shopping for some.

"I put it on my calendar three weeks ago and took off work because I got something great last year," said Lucia Carter.

"I think it's great. I think it keeps things fresh, interesting, and I think The Pearl is a great place to do that," said Lauren Itschner.

The Pearl is planning several more pop up stores. Look for them in empty retail sapce over the next three months.
