HOUSTON -

Police are searching for the two men accused of stealing an $80,000 dollar vehicle from an Audi dealership.

Investigators said last Thursday, two men walked into the Audi West Houston dealership to test drive the RS5 Coup.

After the test drive, the men returned to the salesman's desk to fill out paperwork to purchase the coup.

As the salesman was making a copy of the man's drivers license, one of the men grabbed the keys from the desk and took off.

"I assure you this is something they've done before. Our store's got several cameras all over the building," said Greg Chapman, the sales manager.

Chapman said the personal information the man provided to the sales associate was fake.

"He even looked up to some of the camera spots to either recognize there's cameras, or he just didn't care," said Chapman.

According to Chapman, the phone number given by the man was the phone number to a collection agency.

Audi West Houston is offering a $5,000 dollar reward for tips leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the thefts.
