SAN ANTONIO -

San Antonio soccer fans came out in full force Wednesday night as Mexico played  a friendly match against Korea Republic at the Alamodome. The much-anticipated match-up brought in over 50,000 fans.

It's been 10 years since El Tri last played in San Antonio and fans could wait to get a glimpse of them on the field.

"This is fantastic. This is great I live in Dallas, we had a good fandom there but not like San Antonio. This is wonderful," said Mexico fan Orlando Villareal.

Fans of the Korea Republic were heavily outnumbered but it didn't stop them chanting and representing their country. "My country is good," said Korean Republic fan Jungpae Yoon.

As it got closer to game time, Mexico fans couldn't resist but predict how many goals would be scored. "At least were hoping three goals against Korea." said Ruby Ramirez.

Mexico would not disappoint and go on to win the friendly match 4 to 0.
